The woman, known only as Stacey, shared a picture of her ring to Facebook where users were quick to pick up on it’s one very bizarre feature
A bride-to-be has been mocked for her ‘tall’ wedding ring that people are saying will be a ‘nightmare with jumpers’.
The woman, known only as Stacey, shared a picture of her ring to Facebook group ‘That’s it, I’m ring shaming’.
Stacey asked for the group’s opinions on her “classic but boring” ring.
Many were quick to comment on the height of the diamond – jokingly asking if the ring hits its head on a door frame as she walks through.
Another commented: “You’ll take someones eye out with that”.
Others thought more practically about day-to-day problems Stacey could face with the tall diamond.
One person said: “Good luck wearing sweaters with that” and another added: “So tall, it must catch on everything.”
Another said: “I feel like I could literally flick the diamond out of the setting.”
Previously, followers of the page have been equally brutal in slamming the design of other brides rings.
One woman who has not been named, posted an image of the ring and again asked for feedback.
She wrote: “This is my great-grandmother’s ring and I can’t think of anything wrong with it, but this group entertains the s**t out of me so I want to hear what you’d say about it.”
While the women seemed open to criticism, she may not have seen some of the more imaginative comparisons coming.
One Facebook user wrote: “If a genital wart became a ring, that would be the ring”.
While another said it looked like a “bedazzled boothole” – a similar comparison made by another who said it looked like a “butt hole”.
One wrote: “I’m sure your grandmother is a wonderful woman, however your great grandfather BETTER ANSWER FOR THIS MF CRIME.”
