SNUBBED LIZA LIVID ABOUT JUDY MOVIE!

Aging diva desperate for a role — and money!

LIMELIGHT-loving Liza Minnelli is trashing the bombshell new flick about her mother, Judy Garland — because she wasn’t offered a payday from it!

The 73-year-old Cabaret star was open to a part or working as an adviser on the movie, which stars Renée Zellweger — but no one came knocking and she’s mad as hell!

“Liza wasn’t asked to read the script or even visit the set,” dishes an insider about the film, Judy. “She would have loved to do a cameo or be a consultant — and get paid for it.

“She thinks it’s wrong that she’s been left out.”

Now, spills the source, she’s “on a crusade” to trash the production, in which Renée plays the tragic, pill-popping star just before her death at 47 of a barbiturate overdose.

“Liza won’t be seeing it,” says the snitch. “Nobody knew Judy like she did, and she’s convinced it takes a swing at her mom at a time when she was most vulnerable, and she finds that unforgivable.”

Liza was also livid after a report claimed that she and Renée had bonded over the actress’ portrayal.

The leggy legend furiously scribbled on Facebook: “I have never met nor spoken to Renée Zellweger.

“I don’t know how these stories get started, but I do not approve nor sanction the upcoming film about Judy Garland in any way. Any reports to the contrary are 100% fiction.”

However, the source says Liza would’ve supported the movie if it had been made with her input.

“Liza would’ve had a better story to tell — had they asked!” notes the insider. “And there’s no doubt she’s pissed that she’s not going to make any money on it either.”
