I know this is old. But did you all notice that Kanye West wasn’t at his kids Baptism and Kim Kardashian West had to handle all of the kids herself. However, when it comes to his music, Kanye West may be newly baptized — but the dad of four skipped out on the real deal.

The erratic rapper, 42, was a conspicuous no-show when his wife, Kim Kardashian West, 39, was baptized along with their three youngest children, Saint, 3, Chicago, 21 months, and 5-month-old Psalm — as well as her sister Kourtney and her kids, Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4 — on Oct. 7 in Armenia. “Kanye is obsessed with making his new album, Jesus Is King, absolutely perfect, and things have spiraled out of control,” dishes an insider, who says the musician has been holed up in Wyoming and at his L.A. studio and is making his engineers and producers fly back and forth to rerecord his gospel-tinged tunes. “Kim had already planned the Armenia trip, so everyone just went without him,” adds the pal. “She’s not happy about it, to put it mildly, but she’s sick and tired of turning her life upside down to accommodate him.”
