Hello, all my readers. Welcome to my online Journal. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. I know it’s hard being a mother, but it is so rewarding.
Yet, sometimes your child whom you would die for complains about spending money on you. My daughter and I have been in a struggle. She got a job promotion. For years, I’ve paid for takeout and everything else. It was nice to not pay for anything for a change. So, my daughter paid for the random takeout for the last two weeks. Until mother’s day came, this was the first time my daughter paid for everything.
I planned a quiet day at home. I didn’t feel up to going out. I had to get up the next day, and so did she. So, we decided to have a mother and daughter pajama party. I suggested we order subs. My favorite is the veggie delight or veggie patty, and so is my daughter’s, about $25 on Grubhub or PostMates.
I guess this didn’t sit well with my daughter because she snapped. She said, and I quote, and remember this was on mother’s day,
“I’m getting tired of spending money on this takeout.”
I was thrown back and hurt. I then told her-
