HENPECKED former boozer Ben Affleck is moaning he’s being railroaded into an early knot-tie with demanding fiancée Jennifer Lopez, spies tattle.
His high-maintenance, 52-year-old squeeze is forging ahead with plans to wed sooner rather than later, and pressuring her beefcake beau, 49, to get into tip-top shape for the special day — with no excuses!
“J.Lo still wants the big, flashy ceremony down the line, but before that she wants a small one to get the formalities out of the way,” dishes an insider.
“And she’s told Ben there’s no weaseling out of it,”
She reportedly looking for a fast small, private elopement followed by a huge spectacular wedding in a tropical paradise like Hawaii or the Bahamas. “Ben’s going along with it but he’s feeling steamrollered,” says the insider. It’s his preference to wait and do this properly, and the way Jennifer handles the whole affair is way too aggressive and intense.
The pair’s romance is filled with public displays of affection and has been moving at top speed ever since they reunited last April, following the bootylicious mom of two’s messy split with New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.
Sources say Jell-O already a three-time loser in marriage is anxious to avoid a repeat of her and Affleck’s first ill-fated wedding crash and burn when they split in 2004 just days before they made it to the altar.
