DISGRACED attorney Alex Murdaugh, who stands accused of being a one-man crime wave, will have charges brought against him for the brutal slaying of his wife and son in 2021, say South Carolina authorities.

The pending homicide charges come 18 months after Murdaugh called 911 to report finding the bodies of his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, 52, and troubled son, Paul, 22, who were gunned down at the family’s hunting lodge.

On July 12, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) officials delivered the news to Murdaugh’s younger brother John Marvin that they planned to present evidence in the case to a grand jury — and they did not reference any other suspects in the shocking crime.

Officials didn’t reveal what evidence they had obtained, saying in a statement: “SLED’s investigation into the murders of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh is still active and ongoing. Agents are committed to the integrity of the investigation, thus no additional information will be provided at this time.”

Murdaugh, 64, who has denied killing his wife and son, has been held behind bars since October after admitting enlisting a hitman to kill him in a botched attempt to leave a $10 million life insurance payout to surviving son Buster.

He was also recently socked with four NEW charges — bringing his total to 75 — after allegations of a decade-long financial crime spree in which he allegedly stole millions from people who trusted him, including clients and other attorneys.

The once prominent attorney, who has confessed to opioid addiction, also faces accusations that he swiped more than $1 million from his former law firm.

What’s more, Murdaugh’s attorney buddy Cory Fleming was recently accused of helping the South Carolina scion pocket major moolah meant for his late housekeeper’s kin in a $4 million insurance scam.

Fleming, 53, was indicted on 18 charges related to his handling of a wrongful death claim for the family of Gloria Satterfield, who suffered a fatal fall in 2018 at Murdaugh’s Colleton County hunting lodge.

Prosecutors say Fleming “surreptitiously” delivered $3.4 million to his longtime pal and kept $140,000 for himself, while Satterfield’s sons didn’t see a dime!
