Stabbed in back 10 TIMES – but coroner first ruled she killed herself

Investigators have reopened the case of Ellen Greenberg, who died 11 years ago

PHILADELPHIA bride to Ellen Greenberg’s bloody body was riddled with stab wounds when it was found 11 years ago, and, incredibly, a coroner ruled she’d committed suicide – despite nearly ten gaping gashes in her back!

But now the Chester District Attorney’s Office has reopened its investigation as a murder probe after experts say evidence — including the position of the corpse and blood spatter on the brunette beauty’s face — suggests someone may have tampered with the crime scene!

Ellen’s heartsick parents, Joshua and Sandee Greenberg, are “absolutely 100 percent” sure someone murdered their schoolteacher daughter and got away with the killing for more than a decade, their lawyer says.

The couple’s legal eagle recently commissioned a high-tech 3D re-creation, called photogrammetry, to map Ellen’s extensive injuries — which included ten stab wounds to the back of her head and at least ten more elsewhere on her body!

Based on the size, depth, and position of the cuts, the scientists determined there’s no way her injuries could’ve been self-inflicted!

The Greenbergs also hired two neuropathologists to review the autopsy report. One doctor says a stab wound to Ellen’s brain showed no signs of bleeding — meaning the victim was already dead when the blade punctured her skull!

Sam Goldberg, Ellen’s fiancé, called 911 on Jan. 26, 2011, claiming he’d found her lifeless in their gore-splattered apartment.

“Oh my God! She stabbed herself. She fell on a knife. There is a knife sticking out of her heart,” he said during the call.

Goldberg has never publicly commented on Ellen’s death, and the DA’s office says they cannot comment on the ongoing investigation.
