VILE vegan mom Sheila O’Leary is putting down permanent roots in a Florida prison for the malnutrition murder of her 18-month-old son, who wasted away while being fed nothing but raw fruits and veggies and breast milk.
O’Leary, 38, was sentenced to life behind bars after a jury found her guilty of firstdegree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and child abuse and neglect charges!
Her emaciated toddler, Ezra, weighed just 17 pounds — the typical size of a sevenmonth-old infant — when he died in Cape Coral in September 2019.
Lawmen charge the fruitcake and her husband, Ryan, kept their three kids on a strict vegan diet and failed to call for help the day before Ezra’s death when the boy experienced breathing problems.
According to a police report, paramedics responding to a 911 call found the tot lifeless and the couple’s other two children, aged three and five, showing signs of “extreme malnourishment” and neglect — including sallow skin and blackened teeth!
Prosecutors say Ezra died from “complications from severe malnutrition and dehydration.”
Francine Donnorummo, the special victims unit chief at the Lee County State Attorney’s Office, told jurors, “He was starved to death over 18 months.”
O’Leary’s hubby remains in jail while awaiting trial on the same charges.
