Ailing TV talker lost gig last year

The New York City resident and former star of daytime TV is said to be preparing to move to L.A.

TROUBLED former TV queen Wendy Williams is selling off personal junk from her $3 million Big Apple penthouse as sources chatter she’s splitting for L.A. and feeling a financial pinch!

“It’s a new chapter for Wendy and she wants new things,” says a source.

The peculiar personality, who was ousted from her own talk show, is auctioning off the purple chair used on the Hot Topics segment of her Wendy Experience podcast, other furniture and home decorations.

The 58-year-old chatterbox, who is battling Graves’ disease and recovering from booze and drug addictions, is planning a comeback, but is mum on the details.

“We are still working behind the scenes on several projects,” yaks her publicist. “Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects.”

As reported, insiders dish the razortongued host soared to success by trashing celebs on her talk show until 2018 when she suffered a slew of bizarre medical problems. She started missing episodes and ultimately landed in rehab in 2019. Wendy divorced her cheating producer-hubby Kevin Hunter a year later and her talk show crashed in February 2022.

Despite just getting out of rehab again, Williams was recently spotted boozing at several New York watering holes including Fresco by Scotto and gay bar The Townhouse, say sources, who claim she was filming a mystery project.

“She had a huge crew that basically turned Fresco into a movie set,” says a tattletale. “Lights, cameras, audio, producers, etc. It looked like a reality show.”
