Freak accused in ax murder of brother’s wife & little girl, 9

SPUNKY Kelsey Morrison was looking forward to celebrating her tenth birthday at Disneyland, but that dream was shattered when cops say she and her mom, Keisha Morrison, were brutally hacked to death by a bitter ax-wielding relative!

Everoy L. Morrison, 44, now stands accused of murdering his sister-in-law and niece along with numerous weapons charges and car theft in the grisly Garden State slaughter. “Kelsey was a firecracker, strong personality,” says relative Atasha Scott. “Keisha was quiet, never see her angry.” On April 18, Atasha says Kelsey’s dad, Gary Morrison, grew concerned when the girl didn’t show up for school and he couldn’t reach his 45-year-old wife. He returned to their home in Roselle, N.J., to find a stomach-churning scene that included bloody bedsheets and a bloody ax. “He found a crime scene, but there were no bodies,” says Atasha. “On the floor, it seemed like somebody was trying to clean up blood, like it was swirled around.”

Gary called the police, who reportedly found the bodies wrapped up in sheets and stuffed under Kelsey’s mattress.

Everoy was suspected of the bloodbath. He’d been living in the basement of the home for two years but was recently told to move out.

“I can’t go into details exactly what occurred, but I can tell you Keisha was uncomfortable with him being in the home,” says Atasha.

Keisha’s new BMW was missing, and investigators tracked her ride to Maryland, where Everoy was pulled over and arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. He was being held in Baltimore County Detention Center while awaiting extradition proceedings.

Police have not identified a motive for the crime, but family members believe Everoy envied his brother’s blissful family life.

“The guy was jealous of what Gary had,” says Atasha. “He wanted what he had.”
