PART 2
It was now the 4th of July, and we invited everyone to a family barbecue. Of course, it was more like a catered social gathering with several high-status members, friends, and investors. One of them being Francine and her cocky investor husband.
The moment they stepped onto our lawn, they were loud and exuberant. Francine gave me air kisses as they approached me as I stood by the catered food.
“Hello Lisa, great party. How much money is your husband trying to con now?” Francine bluntly spoke.
While ignoring the insult and watching her husband cowardly sneak over to the group of men, I grab a glass of wine from the passing servers and give it to Francine.
“Oh, hello Francine, good to see you again here. You look thirsty,” I said sarcastically.
“Avoiding the statement, I see. That’s okay.” Francine said while taking a sip of her wine.
“If you could excuse me, the commissioner is here. Thanks for coming. Enjoy the party.” I fake smiled and quickly met with my husband to greet the commissioner and his wife.
After chatting with the commissioner, I spoke with my club wives. Who were all seated at a canopy table in the corner overlooking the nearby pond and a perfect view of the entire party. Far left middle of the party, near the bar, were Francine and the rest of the Pickleball whores.
