QUEEN Consort Camilla is living in terror of dying like her hubby’s first wife, Princess Diana, who palace insiders believe was murdered in a staged car accident!

Camilla’s hellish death nightmare exploded Oct. 28 when her plane was forced to make an emergency landing after being hit midair and suffering massive damage on a trip back from a ten-day rehab at a posh Indian clinic.

The near miss was the THIRD time King Charles’ current wife cheated death in just three years!

“Camilla is convinced there’s a plot to get rid of her and she’ll never be crowned queen,” charges a high-level palace source.

“She trusts no one and the current tensions in the royal family aren’t making her feel any more secure.”

Charles’ 75-year-old mistress turned wife is well aware of the growing backlash against her being named Queen Consort instead of Princess Consort and being crowned alongside her hubby at his May 6 coronation.

“It’s riled certain royal family members as well as a huge chunk of the British public,” notes the source. “They don’t understand why Charles’ mistress is being rewarded — when Prince Philip was never crowned alongside Queen Elizabeth.

“I’m told there are secret discussions behind palace doors to find a way to ‘persuade’ her to step aside for Charles’ sake and the future of the monarchy.

“But no one doubts how difficult that will be.

Camilla’s been hellbent on becoming queen since she sunk her claws into Charles decades ago when as a teen, she seduced him into a sizzling affair that continued after she married another man and he wed Diana, who died in a 1997 car crash.

Booze-loving Camilla was returning from a ten-day detox at a rehab center in Bangalore, India, when a bird smashed into the nose of her British Airways Boeing 777, causing massive damage.

The flight managed to make an emergency landing at London’s Heathrow Airport, but Camilla was totally traumatized, says the royal insider.

Camilla is actually terrified of flying — and this is her third midair near-disaster.

In 2019, a helicopter carrying Camilla from a flower show to her country hideaway had to take emergency measures TWICE in 45 minutes to avoid head-on crashes with two other aircraft that ignored warnings to stay away from the royal flight.

“Camilla is convinced they were brazen assassination attempts,” says the courtier. “She doesn’t believe any of the incidents were accidents or coincidence.

And this latest midair emergency was another.

“She believes there are people in the palace who hate her and want her OUT!”

She’s heard the conspiracy theories about Charles masterminding a plot that sent MI6 agents to murder Princess Diana by staging a traffic “accident.”

Notes the courtier: “The ghost of Diana is constantly on her mind. She tells Charles she doesn’t think he was involved in his first wife’s death but she’s told friends she believes Diana was murdered — and her husband knows all about it. And that puts a target on her back.

“She knows Charles has waited decades to become king and he won’t let anything — or anyone — stand in his way now.

“Now, as the public backlash grows over her being crowned queen, the pressure on Camilla to voluntarily decline the Queen Consort title is becoming intense.

“I’m told the hope of the Men in Grey who run the palace is her paranoia will win out and she’ll step aside.

“Camilla knows her decision could be between life or death!”
